JACQUELYN L. BERNARD, CPA, CGMA

SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT & ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL
 
Jacque is the President and co-founder of Metis GovCon Support, LLC and provides over 25 years of experience in­­­ financial software implementation.
 
Prior to beginning her career in public accounting, Jacque worked in the design of custom accounting software.  After earning her CPA and leaving public accounting, she worked extensively in the design, support and implementation of financial software for a variety of software providers in various industries.  Jacque has specialized in the government contracting industries since 1997. 
 
Jacque currently specializes in JAMIS accounting software implementations and compliance support for government contracting. She provides consulting services to government contractors in the areas of accounting compliance, DCAA Accounting Systems Review, Incurred Cost Submission, Forward Pricing, Bids, and Proposals. In addition to software implementations, Jacque has led dozens of government contractors through the DCAA Accounting Systems Review Audit.  She works with clients on an on-going basis to provide CFO support services, including accounting software selection, implementation, and designing and documenting processes and procedures.

JENNI FELD, CPA, MBA

ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS OPERATIONS, HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSIONAL, & SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Jenni joined Metis GovCon Support, LLC in 2016 and provides almost 20 years of experience in­­­ government contracting, as well as extensive experience with a wide range of software products.

Areas of accounting expertise include government contracting accounting, compliance, financial statement preparation and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, payroll processing, payroll taxes, month end and year end closing procedures, and budgeting. She has a proven track record of continual process improvement and implementation of successful solutions to problem areas. Jenni has extensive experience supporting cost proposals, primarily in the areas of indirect rate strategy and cost narrative composition.  

Jenni also provides experience in effective business operations management in overseeing accounting, human resources, contracts, security, and information technology functions. She is reliable, steady, and provides a supportive work environment while bringing great knowledge and expertise to the field of government contracting accounting.

Jenni, her husband, and two daughters reside in Madison, AL.

Shavon has been with Metis GovCon Support since its conception in 2016.  She brings over 10 years of experience with government contracting accounting and GovCon software implementations.  Shavon is a trailblazer in the fields of accounting & finance with a proven ability of achieving results in small to large, turnaround, and challenging corporations. 

As a business professional, her primary duties have been to both lead and support accounting departments in various functions including payroll processing, labor allocation, financial reporting, job costing, bid and proposal development, forecasting and analysis, contracts management, budgeting, audit preparation, billing, system conversions & implementations, governmental compliance, policy & procedure development and other duties.

A high energy professional, Shavon’s career achievements show that she has the strategic, visional and tactical implementation skills to meet deadlines & budgetary parameters, communicate effectively at all levels, manage multiple tasks concurrently, forecast & plan for proactive management and translate ideas into tangible results.

Shavon resides in Maryland.

LINDA PEEBLES, CPA

ACCOUNTING, FINANCE PROFESSIONAL, & SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

Linda has been with Metis GovCon Support since its conception in 2016 and brings great skill in GAAP, FAR, Incurred Cost Submission preparation, tax preparation, and comprehensive accounting practices.

Linda currently specializes in providing support and training to small government contractors who are implementing DCAA compliant software. Linda’s skills and calm, steady demeanor are found to be extremely valuable in preparing clients for accounting system reviews. Linda trains these government contractor clients on various accounting processes, including maintaining accounting records on an accrual basis, cost segregation, payroll processing, and invoicing. She focuses on industry specific requirements such as compliant timekeeping and segregating costs, as well as researching client issues in the Federal Acquisition Regulations.

Linda, her husband, and three boys live in the Huntsville, AL area.

Aimee joined Metis GovCon Support in 2018.  She has worked in government contracting since completing her accounting degree in 2015 and brings skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, customer invoicing, and payroll. Aimee is great support to Metis’ clients and team with her joyful spirit and steady work ethic.

KIMBERLY NEELY

BOOKKEEPING & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Kimberly joined Metis GovCon Support in 2019 and serves as an administrative professional, providing support to the team and clients. She performs daily administrative and bookkeeping tasks including payroll, timecard management, financial reporting and more. She manages the front desk and supports the team in various tasks to keep the company moving forward.

Prior to joining Metis, Kimberly worked as a bookkeeper in public accounting, managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, preparing reconciliations, invoicing, tax preparation, and payroll for multiple clients at a firm in Huntsville, AL.
